FBI Director Chris Wray Will Step Down Before Trump Becomes President

BI Director Chris Wray declared he would step down early next year after Trump signaled his plan to dismiss the top official and replace him with firebrand Kash Patel. Trump has now removed two FBI directors in a row. During his 1st term in office, Trump fired Wray’s predecessor James Comey because he became angry over the FBI’s investigations into potential connections between Trump’s 2016 campaign.
