Violence Erupts In Sambhal As Court Team Surveys Mosque

Chaos erupted in Uttar Pradesh’s Sambhal as a 7 member court team entered Shahi Jama Masjid for a survey. A mob of hundreds surrounded the mosque, leading to violence, stone pelting, vehicle fires, and gunshots. Four people were killed. The situation remains tense with schools closed, mobile internet suspended, and large gatherings banned in the town.
