Delhi’s Air Quality Reaches ‘Severe’ As Pollution Levels Surge

Delhi’s air quality worsened to the ‘severe’ category on Friday, following a brief improvement to ‘very poor’ on Thursday. The Commission for Air Quality Management (CAQM) attributed the alarming pollution levels to global warming and changing weather patterns this November. Despite efforts in Punjab and Haryana to reduce stubble burning, pollution in Delhi has reached record highs.
