14 Flights Diverted, Delayed At Delhi Airport Due To Poor Visibility

On Monday, 14 flights were diverted and several others delayed at Delhi airport due to poor weather conditions and low visibility. According to an official, some diversions occurred because certain pilots were not trained for CAT III operations, which allow safe takeoffs and landings in extremely poor visibility. CAT III-trained pilots are qualified for such low-visibility situations.
