A US judge upheld her decision to reject Elon Musk’s $55.8 billion Tesla compensation package, ruling that Tesla’s attempt to ratify the deal through a shareholder vote was flawed. Chancellor Kathaleen McCormick found material misstatements in documents and denied the motion. Tesla plans to appeal. The court also awarded $345 million in attorney fees, significantly less than the requested amount.
