PM Modi Meets Manipur Victims On First Visit Since 2023

PM Modi visited Churachandpur, Manipur, meeting victims of the 2023 ethnic violence in his first trip to the state in two years. He also laid foundation stones for projects worth ₹7,300 crore. The Meitei-Kuki conflict over land rights and political representation has claimed over 260 lives, displaced nearly 50,000 people, and deepened demands for autonomy.
