Panaji Elections: BJP Babush Panel Dominates 27 Wards

The Bharatiya Janata Party-backed panel led by Atanasio ‘Babush’ Monserrate swept the Corporation of the City of Panaji polls, winning 27 of 30 wards in Punjab municipal elections. Utpal Parrikar’s Ami Panjekar panel secured three. Monserrate called the result proof of BJP’s stronghold ahead of the Goa Assembly elections in 2027.
