Senator Rubio Pushes To Remove 25% India Tariffs

US Secretary of State Marco Rubio indicated the Trump administration may ‘fix’ the 25% tariffs on India over Russian oil purchases. He urged Europe to impose stricter sanctions on Russia and left open the possibility of additional US sanctions. After meeting EAM S. Jaishankar, Rubio called India “critical” to the US and welcomed ongoing trade interactions.
