SC/ST Quotas Raised SEBC Gets Share In Odisha

The Odisha government has significantly raised quotas in medical and technical education to widen access and promote equity. CM Mohan Charan Majhi said ST reservation increased to 22.5% and SC to 16.25%, while introducing 11.25% for SEBC (OBC) students, aiming to strengthen inclusion, improve representation, and expand opportunities for disadvantaged groups.
