Hyundai Recalls Over 145,000 EVs Due To Power Loss Risk

Hyundai is recalling 145,235 electric vehicles in the U.S., including IONIQ 5, IONIQ 6, and certain Genesis models, due to a drive power malfunction. The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) cited damaged charging control units that may prevent the 12-volt battery from charging. Hyundai will inspect, replace, and update affected parts and software at no cost to owners.
