Tamil Nadu & Kerala Braced For Heavy Rains As Storm Approaches

The RMC has confirmed that the depression over the southwest Bay of Bengal has strengthened into a severe cyclonic storm, moving slowly west-northwest towards Sri Lanka. As a result, Tamil Nadu and Kerala are likely to experience heavy rainfall today and tomorrow. Meanwhile, moderate showers are expected along parts of the south coast and Rayalaseema.
