Chennai Airport Opened After 16 Hours, Flight Services Still Suspended

Due to the heavy rains in Tamil Nadu caused by Cyclone Fengal, traffic has come to a standstill in many districts, including Chennai. As a result, the authorities closed Chennai airport on Saturday afternoon. Operations resumed about 16 hours later, but flight services have not yet resumed. Additionally, railway tracks in some areas are submerged, leading to the diversion of several trains.
