Delhi Records Highest November PM 2.5 Levels In 8 Years

Delhi’s November PM2.5 level averaged 249 µg/m³, the highest since 2017, despite GRAP measures and reduced stubble burning, a CREA report revealed. PM2.5 pollution reached the “Severe” category for eight consecutive days, driven by delayed GRAP enforcement. Health risks remain critical, with 159 Indian cities surpassing the NAAQS limit of 60 µg/m³ for PM2.5 in November.
