Syrian President Ahmed al-Sharaa arrived in the US for a historic visit, marking the first by a Syrian leader since 1946. His trip follows Washington’s decision to remove him from a terrorism blacklist. Sharaa, who ousted Bashar al-Assad last year, will meet President Trump Monday and is expected to discuss joining the US-led anti-IS alliance.
