CCI Approves Manipal’s ₹6,400 Cr Sahyadri Buy

The CCI approved Manipal Hospitals’ acquisition of Pune-based Sahyadri Hospitals from Ontario Teachers’ Pension Plan for an estimated ₹6,200-6,400 crore. The deal, adding 11 hospitals and boosting total beds to around 12,000, strengthens Manipal’s western India presence. This expansion makes it one of India’s largest hospital networks, backed by Temasek.
