Suriya’s Bollywood Project ‘Karna’ Shelved Due To Budget Issues

Suriya’s much-anticipated Bollywood debut in the mythological epic Karna has been shelved. The film, directed by Rakeysh Omprakash Mehra, was planned as a two-part series with Suriya in the lead role. Despite months of pre-production and involvement from Excel Entertainment, budget constraints led to the project’s cancellation. Suriya’s Bollywood aspirations will now be delayed further.
