Russian defence ministry said that its forces had captured a new village in Ukraine’s eastern Donetsk region. Russian army has been making advances in the region in recent weeks. “Units of Centre armed group have liberated the town of Voltchenka,” the ministry said. It used the Russian spelling for the village, which is around five kms (three miles) from industrial city of Kurakhove.
