Plant Lover: Padma Shri Awardee Tulsigowda Passes Away

Tulsigowda, a renowned plant lover, passed away in Karnataka due to age-related health issues. A native of Hunnalli in Ankola taluk, Uttara Kannada district, Tulsigowda worked as a daily laborer for 17 years. She is credited with planting around 30,000 trees and was honored with the Padma Shri by the central govt for her contributions.
