Trump Invites Piyush Goyal For Trade Deal Talks

Donald Trump invited Commerce Minister Piyush Goyal to Washington for trade talks with US Trade Representative Jamieson Greer, envoy-pick Sergio Gor told a Senate hearing. Calling India a strategic partner, Gor said a deal was close and promised to boost defence, energy, and tech ties if confirmed ambassador. He also hinted at Trump attending QUAD.
