Six junior actors from the prequel of Kantara were injured when a minibus carrying them overturned in Udupi district, Karnataka. The accident occurred while they were returning from a shoot. The injured were hospitalized in Jadkal and Kundapur. The Kantara franchise, which gained widespread acclaim, is set to release Kantara: Chapter 1 on October 2, 2025, with Rishabh Shetty in the lead role.
