Cyclonic Storm Weakens After Crossing Sri Lanka Coast

A cyclonic storm over the Bay of Bengal weakened after crossing the northeast coast of Sri Lanka, as per the Regional Meteorological Centre. Its impact is expected to bring heavy rainfall to parts of Tamil Nadu today. Light showers are also likely along the south coastal regions and Rayalaseema, keeping weather conditions unstable across southern states.
