Hundreds of students living in paying guest accommodations in Delhi’s Malviya Nagar were asked to vacate overnight after authorities launched a safety drive following the deadly hotel fire tragedy. Many students, who had recently moved in, were left scrambling for shelter as officials inspected buildings and acted against properties allegedly violating fire.
