Stock Markets Surge: Nifty Hits 25,585, Sensex Nears 83,500

Domestic stock markets ended with strong gains today. The Sensex surged 862.23 points to close at 83,467.66, while the Nifty rose 261.75 points to 25,585.30. The rupee stood at 87.87 against the dollar. Nifty Realty jumped 3.04%, and both MidCap and SmallCap indices gained amid positive global cues and declining crude oil prices.
