Punjab To Distribute Food Kits To 40 Lakh Families

Punjab CM Bhagwant Mann launched the ‘Meri Rasoi’ scheme to provide essential food kits to 40 lakh families under the National Food Security Act. Each kit includes pulses, sugar, salt, turmeric, and mustard oil. Distributed quarterly from April, the scheme, run by Markfed and the Food Department, aims to improve child nutrition and ensure food quality.
