IMD Forecasts Heavy Rains In Andhra Pradesh Due To Low Pressure

India Meteorological Department (IMD) has reported the formation of a low-pressure area over the south-central Bay of Bengal, expected to strengthen into a severe depression in the next 48 hours. This system will move towards Tamil Nadu, causing heavy rains in Coastal Andhra and Rayalaseema from December 17 to 19, with lighter rains expected till the 20th.
