Nepal Army Chief’s Visit To India For Gorkha Recruitment Talks

Nepali Army Chief General Ashokraj Sigdel will visit India from December 11-14 to discuss strengthening defence ties, including the resumption of Gorkha recruitment under the Agniveer scheme. He will meet military officials, attend the IMA passing-out parade, and be conferred the honorary rank of General of the Indian Army by President Droupadi Murmu, continuing a tradition of mutual respect.
