PM Modi met Canadian PM Mark Carney and agreed to deepen cooperation in defence and space, while boosting ties in trade, investment, technology and energy. Both sides will begin talks on a high-ambition CEPA to double bilateral trade to $50 billion by 2030. They reaffirmed civil nuclear cooperation and discussed long-term uranium supply arrangements.
