IndiGo Appoints William Walsh As CEO After Pieter’s Exit

IndiGo has appointed William Willie Walsh, former CEO of British Airways and IAG, as its new CEO, weeks after Pieter Elbers resigned over the airline’s flight cancellation crisis. Walsh, currently Director General of IATA, brings extensive global aviation experience, having led multiple airlines, including British Airways, Aer Lingus, Iberia, Level, and Vueling.
