The Hyderabad Meteorological Centre has forecasted that Telangana will experience light to heavy rains over the next three days. This is due to a low-pressure area forming over the northwest Bay of Bengal, which is strengthening and is expected to cross the Odisha coast on September 3. The weather department also predicted thunderstorms accompanied by gusty winds in some parts of the state.
