Malankara Orthodox Church Welcomes PM’s Stand On Unity

The Malankara Orthodox Church welcomed the Prime Minister’s reported support for keeping the Church united. Church head Baselios Mar Thoma Mathews III said Supreme Court rulings also backed unity. His remarks came after the Prime Minister met the Jacobite Church Patriarch. The two factions have been in dispute over church control for decades.
