LPG Shortage Forces 50 Hotels To Shut At Tirumala

Amid the West Asian war, Tirumala is facing a commercial LPG shortage, forcing over 50 hilltop hotels to shut temporarily. This has intensified queues of devotees waiting for free Anna Prasad. With six tons of gas required daily to prepare meals for around one lakh pilgrims, the closure of hotels has put more pressure on the TTD’s food distribution system.
