Govt Cuts IndiGo Flights By 10% To Curb Chaos, Stabilise Operations

The Centre has reduced IndiGo’s flight schedule by 10% to stabilise operations after mass cancellations. Earlier, the DGCA ordered a 5% cut on high-capacity routes and sought a revised schedule. IndiGo, which cancelled over 4,000 flights this month, faces probes and notices for planning lapses as the government warns no airline can inconvenience passengers.
