Hyderabad: Himayat Sagar, Osman Sagar Gates Lifted After Heavy Rains 

Following heavy rainfall, authorities opened the gates of Himayat Sagar and Osman Sagar as both reservoirs neared full capacity. Himayat Sagar recorded heavy inflows of 5,600 cusecs, while Osman Sagar saw 3,400 cusecs. Water release damaged the Outer Ring Road near Exit 17, disrupting traffic and raising safety concerns.
