Pongal: TN To Run 10,245 Special Buses From Today

Ahead of Pongal, Tamil Nadu Transport Minister SS Sivasankar announced 10,245 special buses will run from January 9-14, boosting total buses to 34,087. With 11.35 lakh Chennai passengers expected, 24-hour control rooms and strict fare monitoring will ensure smooth travel. Return journeys will see 6,820 special buses plus regular services for hassle-free travel.
