Meta Challenges Rs 10 Lakh Penalty In Delhi High Court

Meta Platforms challenged a Rs 10 lakh penalty by the Central Consumer Protection Authority in the Delhi High Court over alleged unauthorized walkie-talkie listings on Facebook Marketplace. Meta argued it is not an e-marketplace but a notice board. The court asked Meta to justify its jurisdiction claim and scheduled the hearing for March 25.
