TVK’s Anand, Nirmal Kumar Approach Madras HC For Bail

TVK leaders Anand and Nirmal Kumar approached the Madurai Bench of Madras HC seeking anticipatory bail over the Karur stampede that killed 41 during Vijay’s rally on September 27. They claimed police and administrative lapses caused the tragedy, not organisers’ fault, and urged protection from arrest. Petitions will be heard on October 3.
