The Centre has sanctioned ₹28,229 crore for the 1,637 km Arunachal Frontier Highway, connecting 12 districts along the India-China border. The project aims to enhance security and boost socio-economic development, passing close to the LAC. It will link 1,683 villages and be completed by 2027. The highway is part of the broader Brahmank Project for infrastructure development in Arunachal Pradesh.
