Boeing plans to raise monthly 737 production to 47 by late spring or early summer 2026, up from 42 since September. VP Katie Ringgold said 2025 will focus on stability, 2026 on growth. Indian airlines operate over 150 737s and have about 400 on order. The backlog is nearly 6,000 aircraft. Deliveries have faced delays despite supply-chain rebuilding efforts.
