Iran Slams US Naval Blockade, Calls It “Piracy”

Iran has condemned the US decision on Strait of Hormuz transit restrictions, calling it “maritime piracy.” The military spokesperson said safeguarding territorial waters is a lawful duty and warned enemy-linked vessels will be barred from passage. Iran also cautioned that continued threats could endanger ports in the Persian Gulf and Sea of Oman.
