Karnataka Warns Strict Action For Issuing Eviction Notices In Favor Of WAQF Board

Karnataka government warned of strict action against officials who continue to issue eviction notices to farmers on WAQF board claims. This comes after government suspended the mutation processes (change of ownership) of all properties allegedly transferred to Waqf Board. CM Siddaramaiah had held meetings in areas, where complaints were filed, to understand the situation.
