Oil, Gas Block Auction Gets 3rd Bid Deadline Extension

The government has extended the OALP-X oil and gas auction bid deadline for a third time to February 18, 2026, giving investors six more weeks, DGH said. Launched during IEW 2025, the round offers 25 blocks across about 1.92 lakh sq km, the largest acreage so far. Deadlines for DSF-IV and CBM bid rounds were also extended by authorities today.
