Akasa Air has introduced a fuel surcharge on domestic and international flights due to rising aviation fuel prices linked to Middle East tensions. The surcharge, ranging from ₹199 to ₹1,300, will apply to bookings made from March 15, 2026. Air India and IndiGo have also added similar charges amid increasing operational costs.
