10 Crest Gates Lifted As Srisailam Dam Nears Full Water Level

Flood flow to Srisailam dam has increased, and flooding is increasing from the Jurala and Sunkeshula dams. Water is being released downstream by 12 feet through 10 crest gates of the project. The project inflow is 404,658 cusecs, and the outflow is 381,392 cusecs. The reservoir’s full water level is 885 feet, while the current level has reached 883 feet.
