Air India’s RAT Deploys, Amritsar‑Birmingham Flight Grounded

An Air India flight from Amritsar to Birmingham experienced an unexpected deployment of its Ram Air Turbine (RAT) during final approach. Despite the alert, the plane landed safely and has been grounded for technical inspection. As a result, its return journey (AI114) to Delhi has been cancelled and alternate arrangements are underway.
