In the Kalasha tribe near the Pakistan-Afghanistan border, women can choose their partners freely. If unhappy with their husband, they can live with someone they like. During the December Chawmos festival, young women going with their chosen men is accepted. Gifts or money are given to old and new husbands, showing Kalasha cultural uniqueness.
