Statue Of Seer Vandalized In Bengaluru

A statue of Lingayat seer Shivakumar Swami in Bengaluru’s Veerabhadra Nagar was vandalized, sparking protests. The accused, 37-year-old delivery executive Srikrishna from Andhra Pradesh, claimed a vision of Jesus Christ inspired his act. Arrested promptly by police, Srikrishna was remanded in judicial custody as residents demanded justice for the desecration.
