SC Grants Bail To 8 Convicts In 1987 Hashimpura Massacre Case

The Supreme Court on Friday granted bail to 8 convicts in the 1987 Hashimpura massacre case, where 38 people were killed by Provincial Armed Constabulary (PAC) personnel. Justices Abhay S Oka and Augustine George Masih considered the prolonged incarceration of the convicts after the Delhi High Court overturned their acquittal.
