Actress Kasturi Arrested Over Controversial Remarks On Telugu Community

Star actress Kasturi Shankar was arrested by Chennai Police in Hyderabad over controversial remarks she made about the Telugu community living in Tamil Nadu. A case was filed by a Telugu association, alleging that she made sharp comments during a protest on November 3. The actress said, “The Telugu community came as assistants to the king’s consort and later adopted a Tamil identity.”
