Cabinet Approves ₹20,000 Crore For Su-30 Jets And K-9 Howitzers

In a significant boost for the “Make in India” initiative, the Cabinet Committee on Security (CCS) approved two major defense projects worth ₹20,000 crore. The projects include 12 Su-30 MKI fighter jets for the Indian Air Force and 100 K-9 Vajra Self-propelled howitzers for the Indian Army. The Su-30 jets will be manufactured by Hindustan Aeronautics Limited (HAL) at Nashik.
