Rama Mohan Rao Amara Appointed As SBI Managing Director

The government has approved Rama Mohan Rao Amara’s appointment as Managing Director of State Bank of India for 3 years. Previously the Deputy Managing Director, Amara will take over the role vacated by CS Setty, who was elevated to Chairman. This appointment ensures SBI’s leadership remains robust with four managing directors, assisting the Chairman in overseeing the largest lender.
